This statement is made pursuant to s54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 which requires organisations to publish a statement each financial year.
Activ8 Intelligence is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. This policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls which address the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.
All our work is undertaken by our staff who are home based. Our professional services supply chain is composed, in the main, of other regulated professional service firms and individuals. These will be subject to supervision by their own oversight bodies such as the ICAEW, ACCA, SRA and FCA and consequently we have assessed the risk of them being involved in slavery and/or human trafficking as low.
Our non-professional supply chain comprises mainly of organisations providing software. Each of these will be required to have due diligence procedures for employees and contractors.
We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We expect the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners.
Our commitment to a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery or human trafficking is reflected in staff training, staff literature and information available on our intranet.
As part of our continuous review and development of our business processes, we will look to include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.
